Frequently Asked Questions about RTT
Rapid Transformation Therapy, or RTT for short, is a new, unique type of hybrid therapy developed by world renowned therapist Marisa Peer. It combines positive aspects of hypnosis, hypnotherapy, Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to achieve positive, lasting change in a short amount time.
RTT works by communicating with your subconscious mind while you are in a relaxed state, the Alpha state of mind. The Alpha state of mind can be reached through induction where we will count backward from 10 to 1. After the induction, we do a few tests to show you how relaxed you are. Next, we are going to review at least three moments in your life that are absolutely crucial to finding the root cause of the issue at hand. Through those moments, we create an understanding that helps us in our detective-like work, and depending on what comes up, we use different tools to eliminate the issue from your life. Then it is time for reframing and transformation. To get the maximum result out of the session you will get a recording of the transformation. Listening to this recording daily for 21 days at least is imperative as it helps your mind change your beliefs and habits.
RTT can help with issues like addictions (smoking, drinking, drugs, gambling), compulsive behavior, anxiety, stress, fear, phobias, panic attacks, guilt, depression, motivation, achieving goals, procrastination, sleep problems, weight issues, allergies, confidence, self-esteem, career issues, public speaking, concentration, exams, memory, infertility, IVF, birth, relationships, physical problems and many more.
Being skeptical is fine, but you will need an open mind and the willingness to transform your life.
Where traditional talk therapy needs weekly or bi-weekly sessions for months and sometimes years, RTT focuses on getting to the root cause of an issue immediately and therefore needs a limited number of sessions to get fast, long lasting results.
It depends on both the person and the issue they are dealing with. The more layers an issue has, the longer it has been embedded in a person’s life, those are all circumstances that count when it comes to healing.
Let me give you a couple examples:
A friend of mine has had a number of sessions on weight loss and anxiety. Right after the sessions I could see him changed, lighter, but he didn’t feel different. In his mind he was feeling worse, his weight did not drop as much as he wanted, his anxiety was still there. Six months later, he has lost 13kg (28.6 lbs), his anxiety is not completely gone, but he now knows how to handle it. He needed the 6 months to change his mindset and take the actions needed for him to transform his body and mind.
A client of mine wanted to be more structured and have a better memory. Immediately after the session she took action to structure certain things in her life and found that she could remember everything.
Another client was in for allergies. She had huge release immediately after the session and found that the allergies got less every day.
Yes, RTT is safe for children. As a matter of fact children are more open and they easily slip into the relaxed Alpha state of mind.
It is recommended to not use RTT with people who suffer from epilepsy or have recently had psychotic episodes without their doctor’s consent.

The icebreaker session is free and lasts roughly a half hour. In that half hour I will introduce my way of working to you and we discuss the issue for which you need my help. If we both feel comfortable and safe to work together, we will agree upon a date for a (first) session and I will send you an intake form to fill out and send back.
In your first session, you will find that being in a relaxed state and letting your subconscious mind show you what you need to know to get to the root cause of an issue is a very powerful and liberating feeling. Things might come up that you already were aware of but there can also be things that you were not aware of. You might tear up or even cry, but you will feel a release and you will feel lighter. A session can be very emotional and therefore I always recommend taking it easy that day and make sure you drink enough water. As said, there will be a form of release that can be as mild as having to use the bathroom immediately after the session and as heavy as getting a fever or diarrhea. You can sometimes expect your mind to show resistance to the changes you want to make. The issue being there has become so familiar and your new belief or new habit is unfamiliar, that the mind wants to shy away from that unfamiliar feeling. This is exactly the reason why you are required to listen to the transformative recording daily for at least 21 days and sometimes longer.
The mind is your most powerful tool and to have it work with you and to understand it, you sometimes need to coax it into doing what you want it to do.
